At Upaj Farm, we have redesigned the traditional Kokedama to suit Indian context and climate. We use rich potting soil mix to cover the root ball, which we wrap in a jute cloth and tie meticulously with thread. The threads are tied to form intricate patterns on the ball enhancing the subtle beauty of the plant itself.

HOW TO CARE FOR KOKEDAMA INDOORS

A Kokedama can be hung or placed on a table. To water simply place a bowl or shallow dish under the ball and fill with water. Let the plant absorb water for a few hours. Once saturated, remove from water. It is important to let the ball dry out in between watering periods to maintain healthy roots.

Kokedamas make great gifts for any occasions be it weddings, socials or office get-togethers. They are so beautiful and easy to maintain, one wants them all . You may decide to hang a few by a window in your home, or put some in a dish on table top. This box contains 4 Kokedamas made from different indoor plants such as Cryptanthus, Pothos, Syngonium & Sansevieria.
